This is the main control form for the entire system. From here you can select the subset of data upon which you want to base your random employee selection, request the random screening report, and navigate to all of the data maintenance options.

A series of drop-down selection boxes allow the user to choose which subset of employees will be included in the selection pool. These can also be selected randomly so, for example, the system will choose the site where the next screening will take place.

This shows the results of a simple screening report request.

In this example, 7 employees were chosen at random out of the total employees working in the Swindon, Accounts dept of DMJ Computer Services. From here, users can print the report and add the sample to the progress tracking system.

One of the key features of dmjRandom is the ability to mass-import data. This applies to the importing of freeform data, such as flight schedules, and also to employee files (as shown here).

The user points the system at a data file (in excel spreadsheet format) containing the relevant data, and then chooses how the data is to be imported (e.g. whether existing data is to be overwritten or added-to). The system intuitively adds higher-level data, for instance Sites and Departments, that do not already exist, and then loads the main data into the system.
